It's a good concept and fairly well implemented. It's just a pity the provided source and binaries throws errors. A few small changes are all that's required to correct the issues.

Installed. It appears that it is easy to install and easy to use. But the dropdown that I expected is not there when I create a new record in NewForm.aspx. I tried query string and view, none of them worked. My query string, <Where> <Eq> <FieldRef Name=”Status”/><Value Type=”Text”>Open</Value> </Eq> </Where> Please help!

This custom field really helped us out and worked almost perfectly. The source code is well-written and commented, making it that much easier to customize.

The source distribution is full of errors, compileable but not runnable. Binary versions throws as well an exception when creating a field of this type. Support is not given since months.
